From our Assured Used scheme you will have the choice of either an Assured Used Volkswagen or a Retailer Assured Used other make of van.

Every Assured Used car for sale will have passed a thorough inspection and any problems found rectified. Most importantly, it will be entitled to up to 12-months warranty.

Multipoint Inspection

Whether it needs it or not, our skilled Volkswagen technicians perform an exhaustive inspection of each van both inside and out. Any defects found are rectified using approved parts and equipment.

Vehicle Mileage check

Every Assured Used Volkswagen is checked to verify mileage history. The checks are carried out by a company who write to all previous owners and endeavour to obtain documentary evidence of recorded mileage.

Mileage information is also obtained from other sources, including the DVLA. Your Volkswagen Van Centre provides a mileage check certificate to confirm that your vehicle has been the subject of a full search. It’s just one more way we make sure you get a lot of mileage out of a Volkswagen.

Every Assured Used van is checked against the following criteria to ensure that no hidden areas may affect your purchase.

A certificate to verify the following checks is provided with your van.

Vehicle identity

Make, model, colour, engine sizeand number, door plan, fuel type and transmission as recorded by the DVLA.

Date of first registration
with the DVLA.

Finance
Is there any outstanding finance?

Condition alert
Has there been a total loss claim?

Stolen vehicle check
Has the vehicle been reported missing?

Plate transfer
Do any transfers hide a dubious history?

Service History Check

We know that evidence of regular servicing and maintenance is important to our customers. Your JCB Volkswagen Assured Van Centre will endeavour to provide you with a proper service history, where available.

Volkswagen Assured Used Commercial Vehicle Warranty 

You get much more than you might expect with a Volkswagen Assured Used Commercial Vehicle warranty.

When you buy an Assured Used Commercial Vehicle from Volkswagen we ensure that you have a minimum of 12 months warranty with no limit to the number or value of claims made, up to the purchase price paid for the vehicle.

Should your van experience a failure under your warranty's terms and conditions, we'll pay the full cost of replacement parts and labour, for example engine, gearbox, steering and suspension would all be covered and parts replaced with original Volkswagen parts including fitting. However, our warranty doesn't cover items such as routine servicing, incidental damage to bodywork and glass, or standard wear and tear. We also give you the option of a further year’s extended warranty for extra peace of mind.

What's more, you will also be entitled to Volkswagen Emergency Assistance which gives you the reassurance of assistance and recovery services 24 hours a day (in the UK only) throughout your first year of ownership. And should your van ever need to spend more than 24 hours in a workshop under your warranty's terms and conditions - van hire as part of the Assistance package is provided regardless of whether there is a warranty claim. So you're covered whatever happens.

MOT Test Cover: Also included when you purchase an Assured vehicle is MOT test cover. This is an invaluable asset at MOT test time as it will pay for items needing repair or replacement should the MOT test require them (subject to the terms and conditions of the cover).
